EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
Your donation of used, good-condition equipment can be lifesaving in Central America. From tools and medical supplies to fire engines and ambulances, your equipment can get a second life in Honduras.
Replacing your PPE and/or airpacks with more modern equipment? Firefighters in Central America will be thrilled to have your old ones. Ambulance getting to the end of its fleet life? Paramedics for Children will place it with a department in Central America who has none. If you don’t have equipment donation authority but are still interested in helping out, let your administration know about Paramedics for Children: there may be tax advantages and PR benefits for donations.

YOUR IMPACT
We’re always looking for donations of turnouts, helmets, boots, and more for our firefighters, as well as other equipment such as lifepak 10-12s, adjustable nozzles, and airpacks and bottles.
If you’re upgrading your equipment but aren’t sure whether the older versions are usable, get in touch with us!
Each donation is checked for service ability and minor repairs are made as needed. Donated ambulances and firetrucks are filled with the supplies and equipment needed for their operation, then are shipped or driven to Honduras, and then donated to a fire department or rescue service.
Along with your donation, we provide the receiving department with training (if needed) to safely and effectively use the equipment, taught either by our own staff or with other strategic partners. Paramedics For Children has a longstanding relationship with emergency services authorities that help us determine need in Central America
Documentation of each donation is always available, as are photographs and/or video of your donation in action.
